    Our underlying values are founded on the Atkins approach to weight loss from the 2002 edition of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (2002 DANDR), which we believe to be the safest and most nutritionally efficient method in existence.

    At this time of year, it really makes me stop and realize how much I have to be thankful for.

    On top of that, my BF asked me to marry him this past September! Planning a wedding has been so much fun.

    Any photos I have shared in the past on this board were from a photo account that accidentally got deleted.. sorry about that.

    What I am most proud of is the fact I got my weight under control and will be getting married in a gorgeous dress that I look and feel amazing in.

    1. Read the book, "Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution" (2002), and read it through to understand the principles of the diet and the long-term maintenance you'll follow after reaching your goal weight.( The newer Atkins book, "Atkins for Life", is for people who have reached their goal, and are on Maintenance. It is not a weight loss book. It is great, but save that for later. The more recent 2010 book "New Atkins for A New You" is not written by Dr. Atkins. The company with the right to the Atkins brand published it. Here at ADBB we are continuing using Dr. Atkins' own book as our source for inspiration and guidance.)

    2. Make the commitment to yourself that you want to lose the weight and then follow-through to maintain it for the rest of your life. This is not a "magic bullet" diet that you abandon once you've reached your goal weight.
