An average induction loss is 5-10% of your excess weight. After you finish induction, you should figure out your level of metabolic resistance using the table on page 158 of DANDR 2002. Quote: |
A question I have is this: I seem to be at the moderate 40 mg/dl on the ketostix, so is that good and does that mean im losing fat fast?

Also have i understood correctly, that as long as im in ketosis I will be losing/burning fat?...because I keep asking if my portions are too big or small or if im satisfied rather than binging.
| If you are in ketosis, your body will get its energy from burning fat. This does not necessarily mean you will be losing weight. You can keep your carbs low by eating a pound of butter (0 carbs) and then your body has no other alternative than using fat for energy... so you will be in ketosis. However, your caloric intake would probably be too high to allow weight loss. Quote: |
Also will I get sagging skin from losing weight? and if so how can I prevent this and any stretch marks or cant i?
| I don't know how much you have to lose... Sagging skin is partly a matter of genetics. There are things you can do to help, but it really depends on each person what the final result will be. Lifting weights helps, some say dry brushing also improves the skin appearance. There's a link in Adena's signature about saggy skin... here it is: The Myth of Loose Skin
