Type II and looking for ideas | | Hey folks, was on Atkins back in 2004-2005, and did awesome. I had plans to start back on it late last year... but held off. I'm currently diagnosed with Type II and started Atkins about a week ago. I go in for a check up next Monday. My readings have been in the area of 130-160, I'm just wondering what are some tips for meals and stuff you've been eating to help drop the levels in your blood sugar? I really want to try and lower this and lose some weight as well. I'm considering an extended induction, and not weighing myself. I figure the less I weigh myself, the less discouraged I'll get.
I drink decaf Iced Tea, and currently giving up Diet Decaf Coke to see if this will help, as well. I've notice a change, since then... but looking to do some more tweaking and really see it closer to 100. Thanks for any help and support you folks can offer, much appreciated.
