Re: 36 days on induction and I refuse to weigh | | Tim! You just helped me out with something~
I started induction yesterday, but have been preparing for about 3 weeks, I guess. I've read loads of posts here, as well as other sites [this is by far the best site, btw]. There is a lot of talk about losing pounds, pounds/day, pounds/week. All of this, I believe, is totally normal. It's also been the one nagging thing about starting for me. I'm a weight lifter and have a considerable amount of muscle. Because of this, I feel my weight is absolutely obsolete. In fact, I haven't weighed myself for years and don't own a scale. The number means nothing~ only how I feel and what I can see has ever mattered to me.
But... I was going to bite the bullet tomorrow and weigh myself at the gym. I still don't know why I was going to. It's definitely not something I wanted to do. In fact, I was certain it would be counter-productive to a successful weight loss for me personally. Then I clicked on this post...
Thanks for being the hand reassuring hand on the shoulder.
