I agree with you on the crystal light, avoid artificial sweeteners as much as you can while on induction. It's two weeks of your life that will pay off forever. The salt thing, visit your spice aisle and see Mrs. Dash. She has wonderful flavors that don't have salt. Also, there are some spices that I add to almost everything. Curry has fenugreek in it and aids in fat metabolism and lessens the insulin response of carbohydrates. Crushed red pepper and cayenne pepper are thermogenics that release endorphins and raise your metabolism. I add all three of these to my omlettes and seasoned meat. Who needs salt? I also make a chili that has a lot of these plus crazy amounts of milled flax seed. If you need to add fiber to your diet, see the recipe in the recipe forum. I eat it twice a day, every day.
