Default Re: Start to the healthy me

You are eating a fairly large amount of food but thats not abnormal during induction because you are fighting cravings. I would suggest paying attention to whether you are hungry or just want to eat as you get past these first couple of days. Ketchup is an absolute NO NO on Atkins. It is mostly sugar! Sour cream you should save for the dairy rung. A lot of your meats are processed - ham sausage pepperoni - they often have hidden sugars so limit them if you can. Better to cook a pork chop or a piece of fish rather than snack on the processed stuff. A roasted turkey breast is a good snack and lunch meat you can keep on hand instead. Finally, you should be drinking a lot more water. Go for 80 to 90 ounces a day. It definitely helps you lose faster and keeps your body detoxed. Hope this helps. I know Induction is very restrictive but doing clean will bring a much better result.
