That other plan you were on really scared me. You will lose on a low fat, low carb, low cal diet, but your health will suffer and you won't be able to stay on it for very long. The gal that developed it is morbidly obese. Stick with us kid, you know it works...
I'm really not sure about the veggies either, Carole's answer sounds really good to me. I think of lettuce is a free food, as one cup of shredded lettuce equals one carb, on the other hand red peppers are about 10 carbs to the cup, and broccoil is 5+ to the cup. Pick and choose carefully and you will be fine
