Hello everyone! I'm a 31 yr old female w/4 little ones. My husband and son both have Asperger's, so our house is a mixture of educational intrigue, humor and a little bit of chaos!
This is my 2nd time on Atkins.
I tried it 2 years ago and lost 27 pounds in just 2 1/2 months. At that time, I was only 15 pounds away from my target and thought that I could start "cheating" a bit here and there. It snowballed very quickly, because the sugar made me feel immensely hungry and I just ate, ate and ate after that!

Unfortunately, over the last 2 years, I not only gained back those 27, but added on more that I now need to lose!
I'm back and motivated again! I'm not worried about the next 2 months, I can do anything short term. I just want to make sure that I have a plan in place this time around so that I don't go from one extreme to the other.
My previous struggles were:
- Dealing w/friends & family who invited us over for meals or celebrations
- Vacations spent in a hotel w/out a full kitchen to cook meats, eggs, etc.
Diet Started on 3-21-09, down 6.5 pounds (water weight) as of 3-24-09. Currently dealing with the induction headache blues as my body starts to get ready to enter Ketosis mode. Good luck everyone! Let's do it right this time!
