Default Re: It's Decision time

I'm only growing two tomato plants this year. We always have way more than we can use, even after I dehydrate tons of them. I still have some I dehydrated three years ago!

I like Romas because you can cook with them and they don't mush up. They also can and dry well. But you don't get those heavenly, huge tomatoes where one slice can make a sandwich with them.

I like the mesclun mix on the lettuce... because you get all kinds of lettuces... frilly, broad leafed, red, and all kinds of different, tender leaves that make the prettiest salads. But I am also growing romaine.

I have radishes planted. They only take 30 days to harvest and can use space around the larger plants before they get too big to shade the radishes out.

And LOTS of green onions since I use very few bulb onions now.

DO grow bell peppers for stuffed peppers! I also like stuffed ancho peppers.

I am hoping it will be sunny tomorrow so I can get out there and work!

I can't wait to see pictures of your garden as it progresses!!!

I hope you get rested, Carole. I noticed you sounded tired on a couple of other threads. Maybe you need to take it easier for a few days?
