Default Re: Is it possible to lose 20 pounds in one week?!?

It is often said that a 'normal' amount to lose during the first 2 weeks on induction are between 5% and 10% of the total number of pounds someone needs to lose, and some of our century club members (looking to lose 100 pounds plus in total) have achieved 20 or more pounds in those 2 weeks - some at an even rate of loss and others losing only in the first week or the second week.

If you have about 20 pounds in total to lose, a 'normal amount' to lose in the 2 weeks would be 1-2 pounds.
