Re: old menu review | | Not sure why you want an old menu reviewed for you? Are you saying you are planning on starting again on Atkins. But you are not on Atkins now?
That menu could be problematic for some people.
*There is a lot of protein on it but not that much fat. Fat helps us get into ketosis and keeps us full. Atkins says that protein may be turned to sugar if we over do it. I don't think you are overdoing protein but I would add some butter or oil here or there. Maybe mayo? skin on the chicken
* Calories look a bit low (this would depend on the person's calorie needs)
*Many people would stall on all those sweeteners added there. We are only allowed three sweeteners - and one can on Dr. Pepper and two jellos are over that limit. The sweetener used in those products is aspartame and Atkins told us to avoid it as in his experience it stalled many of his clients.
But overall it is pretty good I think. I would certainly make some adjustments if I had problems with that menu.
Also just to let you know, there is no such thing as no carb cheese. Sometimes the serving sizes listed are small and if there is under one carb - they will say zero on the package but a milkproduct like cheese will have some carbs in it.
Also do not forget supplements.
Really nice workout schedule. Bet you are looking good with less fat and more muscle.
