I actually suspect it has in the past caused me issues with stalls.
I now use Chia seed to get my EFA's and fibre. They have more Omega 3's than any food including flax, are very mild tasting and can be added to pretty much anything, do not need to be ground (they're tiny round seeds) to get their nutrition, and cooking them does not affect them at all. They're also interesting to use in cooking as they 'thicken' foods by creating a gell when soaked in liquid. I like them in yogurt as it thickens it almost to a mousse consistency when left for 10 mins. Chia for Health - Dr. Weil info on them. It's a good alternative for anyone that doesn't want to consume flax. | Ok, now I'm curious what information you came across that made you unsure of its benefits?...of course everything I've researched on it says how FABULOUS it is...
