You would always have the propensity of becoming 'full blown' if you went back to eating sugar and the wrong carbs, but while controlling your carbs you will be saving your heart, eyes, kidneys etc. from the bad effects of diabetes.
Read and reread the chapters on diabetes. It's really marvelous that a controlled carb approach makes such a difference, as diabetes is a killing, life-altering scourge. (Imagood got it going on there!) |
