What you need to find out is where did the sugar come from. Was it added sugar. Added sugar will be on the ingredient list: The list will contains cream, water, sugar. If it does say sugar the product is OUT. We do not eat stuff with added sugar.
Some sugar is natural - so when you look at the nutrient list it may have sugar listed with fiber and proteins and stuff - but now it is natural sugar and that is OK.
Milk does not have added sugar. But it has a lot of natural sugar. We can have milk on Rung 2 of OWL.
Normally cream has no added sugar - I whip my own - It is great stuff. But store bought premade stuff often has sugar added to it. And those creams are OUT.
So did you make the right choice? Well depends.... right?
