It is also because you should be getting the majority (over half) of your net carbs from vegetables, which are limited to 3 cups per day -- max. 1 cup from the "Other Vegetables" list and the rest from the "Salad Vegetables".
It is also because cheese can cause constipation.
And it is also because many people have issues controlling their cheese intake, 'cuz they like the stuff so much.
