Your body is no longer having those carb-induced spikes toward cravings so it's definitely something you're not used to, but completely normal. I personally embrace it, as I hated to feel so rushed to eat when I was eating lots of carbs like my life depended on it, but I understand how the feeling can make some people uneasy. If you're very concerned that you're not eating, have even the smallest portions of something that's carb-friendly. Even if it's just a bite or two, that you consume as you would a vitamin, it's better than nothing. As you begin adding carbs back to your diet, in the future phases, you'll feel plenty hungry again, so not to worry if you miss that sensation. |
