My thinking: the question why you are losing weight, is not fair. How would people who follow a particular chemical process such as Atkins, guess at why you are losing weight even though it is (somewhat) outside of the method that we here are familiar with?

I think you are lucky and may it keep up for you. Enjoy it. Those of us who are struggling with trying to lose every once are envious.
