Default Re: Another question. Fitday vs. nutrition labels

I've been using FitDay for three years & its great.

I've found that merely coming in at fewer calories than allowed makes up for any discrepancy between actual caloric measurements of labels vs. database.

I use the food label for things that I purchase a lot.
I use the FitDay database for some foods which are too long to input ingredients.

I'm in the induction phase, though, & now I'm entering some food labels with a modification based upon the "net carb" count. i.e. An Atkins bar might state on the front "2 net carbs" where on its reverse sided label, it listed the Government version of 20 carbs. So, I enter the "2 carbs" into FitDay rather than the label version. It doesn't change anything that the software calculates overall except for the carb counts that I can see.
