Default Chayote Recipes please

I am going to be in the vegetable challenge starting in a couple days - we are suppose to try a new vegetable so I bought a chayote. I thought I had seen a recipe for them that was suppose to taste like baked apples - I'd also like a couple different ways of making it just in case I decide to eat it more than once.
