Re: Fat free sugar free jello pudding?? Is it ok?? | | It is thickened with corn starch or other starch, which spikes blood sugar as much or more than plain table sugar. The only way to get over the sweet tooth and cravings is to go cold turkey and not have anything that is sweet while on induction. Your cravings are a sign of your addiction to sugar and carbs. It's your body begging for a fix, just like a drug addict craves the fix. If you clear your mind and palate of the overly sweet foods that we have become addicted to, which is how we get addicted to them in the first place, soon you will start to notice the naturally sweet taste of veggies. After going a long time without any sweeteners, when I ate some fruit it was way too sweet and I didn't enjoy it at all. |
