You sound really frustrated. Yes your menu is not really atkins. Take a deep breath! Relax and learn about this way of eating. You will do just fine.
I know it sux to hear "read the book". But....oh gosh, you really should pick up a copy. It will
not be over your head, check your library if you do not want to purchase it.
Heres what I know...
The ratio is supposed to be
65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carbs. ...
Skipping meals is not good, (even if not following Atkins!) I try to eat some avocado and eggs...there are sooo many great recipes on this site...easy stuff to do, even for a 15 year old!
Hang in there!!! I am sure more people will come along that have been doing this longer with really great advice.
