As I grew older I was able to have the yolk of an egg occassionally and a small amount of milk -- older still I can now eat eggs with no problem but have given up milk for Atkins (and don't really miss it), I also have allergies to certain oranges but not all. Your body determines what it will tollerate and what it won't.
Are you allergic to any vegetables? There are some wonderful soup recipes on Linda's site that I've tried that have no dairy in them. meat and a salad or veggies and fish for dinner. I rarely have dairy in my daily meals and if I do it's as a topping for salad or eggs. You need to think of more than eggs to eat, there are so many different foods to choose from.
