| So you must be in OWL Rung 1 then, if you are eating 20-25 net carbs. Is this correct? In this case, the "extra" carbs should come from vegetables.
About the ketostix. If they change color at all, you are in ketosis and that's all that matters. The ketone bodies concentration (aka nuance on the strip) can depend on things like amount of water drank, exercise, etc. Never test immediately after exercising or right after you wake up. The best time to do it is about 2 hours after a meal.
