Re: Off caffeine and my sugar dropped | | I was having trouble staying awake at work the other day, so I got a cup of regular coffee and put a little Splenda in it. It helped me stay awake and finish my boring day at work. However, I checked my sugar right after the coffee and low and behold blood sugar was up to 171! I tried an experiament the next day and had a diet Dr. Pepper cherry flavor...quite yummy....but afterwards my sugar was up to the mid 150's. So, the caffeine is also a no-no for me. |
