Oh my goodness! I saw the chayote recipe for the fried apples ages ago but couldnt get the squash in NJ stores. After reading this thread today, I googled it and they sell it all over here in China! I am going to go get some this week! Unfortunately, I leave for NJ on Friday! LOL
