Mock potato chips made from jicama | | Mock potato chips made from jicama. All I did was cut the jicama paper thin and I mean paper thin and let them sit out to dry out some of the water that they hold at least 30 minutes other wise they have a hard time getting crispy. Then I let them deepfry in oil until they are a medium to dark brown the darker these get the sweeter they get it takes them getting very dark to get crispy. Then took them out of the pan and added a little sea salt and they taste better then real potato chips. Enjoy!
