Default atkins diet and bad breath?

has anyone else had a problem with bad breath while doing atkins and if so what can i do to prevent it.i havnt been able to find any gum or breath mints that are legal on atkins.
when i did this diet(i hate calling it a diet because it is a way of life or eating)like 7yrs ago the people who turned me on to it said they had a problem with it too but i cant remember if they told me anything to do about it or not.
And its not like its super strong dragon breath but its enough to make me feel a little insecure when talking to the opposite sex (lol)
