I was about to embark on that same quest when I started in March, but the sodium content in all those foods didn't agree with me. So, I don't eat bacon, pepperoni or sausage. I've replaced them with uncured turkey and low-sodium hams, both with no sugar. I've lost my craving for sweet and salty (thank goodness). If I didn't stop eating the high-salt stuff, I'm not sure I would have broken that cycle.

) but I wanted to share my experience about how moving away from those processed, high-sodium foods, kind of solved my cravings for them.
