YES!!!

That's actually one of the positives that I've been noticing with this eating plan. There were tons of off-limits goodies around this evening, but I was able to just stick to my celery and hard boiled eggs. Believe it or not, I've gotten to the point where all the high sugar/high carb stuff doesn't even appeal to me right now. I can appreciate the delicious smell of a bakery, but don't actually have any desire to eat the food, if you can believe it. I feel calmer and more "focused" and that alone is worth the extra effort, prep, and initial stages of "denial" and retraining.
It's still one day at a time, but for today, this is amazing!
