Yes, it's possible, but I doubt it's 5lbs of fat. Probably a combination of water/fat. Did you weigh yourself exactly the same way/time yesterday? One of the theories I have is that certain scales are not very accurate in the 5lb range, so what we sometimes might think is a "whoosh" from our body really is more a function of the scale's sensitivity (or lack thereof). But, don't despair, if I'm correct, then you were 197 ish for the last few days; your scale finally registered it. Metabolically, you can't lose 5lbs of fat overnight. Either way, congrats on hitting Onderland!
