Your menu is low carb, but it's not Atkins. Remember Atkins is a high fat diet and during Induction 65% of your calories should come from fat, 30% from protein and 5% from carbohydrates.

You should also be eating 3 cups of vegetables per day---either 3 cups of salad vegetables or 2 cups of salad vegetables and 1 cup of vegetables from the "Other Vegetables" list.

Do yourself a favor and read the book before starting Atkins. Also take a look at the FAQ section on the Board and read the stickies on top of the Induction forum.

The book we use here is "Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution" (2002).
