Re: 1 week in and no weight loss | | The first week is largely a transition week, where you are basically getting into ketosis. The fat burning starts once you are in ketosis, not from day one of course. Having gotten your energy burst, I would say you have definitely reached ketosis and personally I would not bother with ketostix, but you might still want to. If you have started noticing looser clothing you ARE LOSING. Things are going in the right direction and you have nothing to worry about. You will likely see your scale results in the next week. To lose 10 percent of the weight you need to lose during induction, you would want to see a loss of 3.5 pounds in the next week. This is VERY possible, in the next week, I would even go so far as to say probable, now that you are securely in 'fat burning mode.'
