Where did you get that dress?? LOL |
Thank you so much! What a nice thing to say!
Unlike previous occasions when I have been losing weight, I am trying to like myself a bit more at each weight I am rather than hating myself until the scale says exactly what I want it to, as I find a lot of my battle, like may people, is in my head foremost.
So it takes a bit of work (especially in photos, where I usually HATE what I see!), but I'm getting there! I'm also trying to find clothes that are more flattering (dress is just an H&M last minute purchase, and I wasn't 100% sure about it, to be honest, but have had a lot of remarks!).
Am enjoying feeling fitter and more comfortable, and looking forward to getting back into some of my 'slim-jim' size 10-12(UK) clothes.
I think my self-esteem is the part that suffers most when I let myself put on weight, but it's picking up a lot as the numbers come down

I've also been doing a 'Pole-dancing for Fitness' class 3 times a week for the last 3 months and this has given me a massive boost to my confidence: I'd really recommend it to anyone. I'd never have left the house in shorts before, but now I own countless pairs, and it's improved my strength and co-ordination no end! Hula-hooping has also been great fun.
As I have been letting myself get away with a few illegal foods recently

, I am going to do a week or so induction to get my head back on track, and have signed up to the June no-cheat forum, so hopefully the next 10-20lbs will come off in a nice steady manner!
Wish me luck, and thanks everybody again.
