Re: staying the course with Diabetes 11 | | Carole, yes, I am adding those veggies today. I felt going low carb, high fat was not the way a diabetic should go. I did try it to see if it would work on me. I have lost that 1/2 pound but I lost it before I reduced my carbs so low. Today I am back on salad (peppers, cucumber, celery and mixed greens) and I will also have a cup of veggies with dinner such as cauliflower mash potato, string beans. I am on coumidin so I should not it a lot of green things, although I have not been that good about it. My INR is being checked today. I am happy and walking now. Tell you more as we talk.
