I never had a whole rung not agree but there are foods (like rice) which cannot be eaten because I get a sugar rush. (the blood sugar symptoms megs is referring to) I knew right away when I tried brown rice that it would not work.
Then there are foods that I could not have by themselves but that can work if eaten with protein and/or fats (like raspberries, cantaloupe, apples, oranges ) So these I have experimented with and it may have taken several weeks for each.
