Re: Question about Lipolisis, Ketones, Energy and Blood Sugar | | A very very small percentage of people will feel lightheaded and may need to move to rung one and add some more veggies, but if you are eating something every 4-6 hours (if you are worried, make it 4) and eating after a hard workout so you refuel your body, low blood sugar should not be a problem. In fact, since this way of eating keeps your blood sugar more stable you should have fewer problems because your body isn't releasing the vast quantities of insulin any more that cause drastic dips in blood sugar. The ketone levels likewise should pose no problem. These things are the foundation of this way of eating. If you are feeling good and losing then stop worrying. Otherwise if this concerns you so much that you are constantly fretting over the chemistry by which Atkins works, perhaps a different WOE would be better for you.
Having said that, hundreds of us here on this site have never had a problem, some of us after years on Atkins. So I hope that you can relax and enjoy feeling well and eating well on this WOE.
