Default Re: And on the 7th Day, God created Ketosis?

I've talked to lots of people in my years doing Atkins. Besides telling everyone to read DANDR 2002, drink water, exercise, eat from the food list and follow the rules, take supplements as suggested ... I would tell them, based on my own experience ... don't worry about the ketostix and step away from the scale.

Becoming a serial weigher is a lot of pressure on a person. Letting a scale tell us what kind of day we are going to have is insane. Weigh yourself on a schedule to your liking (once a week, once a month, every month after TOM .. whatever works for you).

Also, I have spent many years on Atkins. I seldom registered any change on the ketostix. And guess what ... I lost weight. So, my message is to do what you are supposed to be doing for a month and relax a bit about the weight and the stix. You will lose weight if you follow the plan.
