That's why you are supposed to eat 3 cups of salad veggies (not just lettuce) or 2 cups salad veggies and 1 cup (measured raw) from the "other" list. A lot of us stayed on induction too long, thinking that would make us lose weight faster. Not so. When we finally moved up to rung 1, extra induction veggies, the weight started coming off faster. Lemon juice has a diuretic effect, so you release water weight, but it doesn't have any properties to actually "burn fat." |
