What about your physical signs of ketosis, like fruity breath, metalic taste in your mouth, change in the smell of your urine and/or sweat, increased energy, decreased appetite? Do these go away too? |
Yes these all go away. I test first thing in the morning because I know that water or any high amount of fluids dilutes the test. I have tried it lots of times, testing and also observing all of the different signs. That is how I realized that I really have to watch onions and tomatoes.
I have also found that if I increase much over the 20 carbs I do not lose. I also don't consume a big amount of calories. In the past I have stayed on the induction until I have reach my goal. I average about 1.5 to 2 pounds a week on it if I stick right two it.
I know that I am metabolic resistance to weight loss. I also think that I am insulin resistance. In the past I did suffer from Candida Albicans, which I believe being on Adkins years ago for a long period of time realy helped and took care of that. I was recently started on thyroid medication. I am hoping that this will help me lose easier and be able to increase my carb count some. LC diets have been the only ones that I seem to lose on.
