Did you add it to fitday as 'cooked' or 'raw'?
I looked up raw and cooked broccoli on my fitday account and
for 1 cup raw it said total carbs 5.8g including fiber of 2.3g (making 3.5 net carbs)
for 1 cup cooked it said total carbs 13.2g including fiber of 6g (making 7.2 net carbs)

I always add the ve(and any other foods) as the raw amount used, whether I cooked it or ate it raw to avoid this problem.
