Although calories do 'count' in that if you eat way too much food you will not lose weight as easily, most of us do not 'count' calories as in restricting them to any particular number on Atkins.
Rely more on eating when hungry and until no longer hungry from the food allowed on your Atkins phase and you won't have to 'count calories' at all!
