Most of the foods you have listed are really only suitable if you got car/caravan camping, no?

I often go camping carrying water and food and tent and walking into the campsite for a half day, and staying for a few nights.

Are there any other suggestions for camping food that can be used when camping for a few days? Most of the dried camping foods i can buy are usually rice/pasta/carb-laden or freeze-dried veg like peas only...
