there are many places you can order on line freeze dried proteins without rice or pasta and veggies. fix your own when you arrive. If you are OWLing you can carry nuts, cheeses, powdered eggs, dried berries, beans, whole grains ,and lots of other stuff you can dehydrate at home like beef strips and veggies. Add that to INduction tuna or chicken in a pouch and you got great meals. Flax meal hot cereal taates great camping too.
