Hiya,

To be honest I was very lazy in regards to starting exercising. It was always "I'll start tomorrow".

I've only now just started following the advice I was kindly given and do weights and callanetics. As I've not been doing it long I haven't yet noticed an improvement as it's too soon. I know the exercises are working because I can feel it for days afterwards.

Presently I'm concentrating on callanetic and weight exercises for the stomach and arms. I'm following the DVD I mentioned in my earlier post and my sis aka 'gym freak', guides me with my weights.

What sort of exercises are you doing with the weights?

I also found the links provided in this thread very helpful but do believe it's an individual thing. I'm trying to find a routine that works for me.

I think it's great that you've lost 20lbs already and it shows you must be doing something right. It was pointed out to me that sometimes the fat around your stomach can be the last to go.

I wish I could provide better feedback in regards to the results from my exercises but wish you all the best.

----EDIT---

Sorry I got my threads mixed up. This is the link for a thread about the callanetic exercises I do. I know you're not obese but it works for everyone.
