Re: Ivy's 3 week and depressed | | It does get easier -- drinking water and eating right just becomes habit, then you don't think about food as much, then you stop opening the fridge door. The preoccupation eventually goes away if you hang in there. And if it's any consolation, I didn't lose anything in weeks three and four and I just about gave up. Glad I didn't, as I've lost 9 pounds since. So if you give up, not only do you miss out on losing those pounds that are just itchin' to come off -- but not quite ready yet -- but you'll probably regain what you've lost so far. Now THAT is frustrating.
