Default One of those moments when you want to cry.

Tears of joy. Dern tears of joy.

I had just read about someone getting into old jeans and I figured I would dig out my pre-baby skinny jeans just to see how far I had to go. I had just gotten into these jeans when I got pregnant in '04. I wore them for a few weeks, falling in love with the slightly tight butt-lifting effect they had. I got pregnant and that week I could no longer wear them. It broke my heart. I gave them to a girlfriend who took them home to Conneticutt, she promised to treat them with love and make sure I could get them back if i ever needed them. Well, they arrived in the mail earlier this spring with 3 other pairs of jeans she had low carbed her way out of. She went from a beautiful size 12 to a knock out gorgeous size 6 and is a Callanetics maniac! I love her. Anyway... When I got these pants back I couldn't even get the zipper to pretend to meet the other side. I tried these pants on a week or so before Easter, couldn't breathe when I manage to zip them up. Today, those bad boys feel glorious in all their butt-huggin' fit. I burst into tears. They fit, granted I had a muffin top along the edge, but certainly wearable. And no amount of money could get me to take these jeans off right now.
I can't help to think back to when I was 276 on a 5'2" frame. So round I couldn't put my freaking arms down on my side. I hated shopping for clothes. I hated how I looked in anything. I would shop for purses or shoes constantly because I didn't have to try and fit my butt in those. And to be able to put these back on today is worth more to me than any potato, breaded, sugar concoction I can dream up. ****, I'm still cryin'!
Anyway, thanks for all the support and the endless question answering I have gotten from everyone here. I really can't tell you how much it means to me.
