Re: Food Addict my recovery | | Nice story, but are you doing Atkins? Your page says a lot about your addict eating & thinking, but nothing of how you are eating now, or the weight loss progress you have made. Sure there's a lot of food addicts here, and we have had similar experiences. As a kid I poured the honey jar into the peanut butter jar and grabbed a spoon, then hid in the pantry to eat it all. Boxes of donuts and bags of M&M's "donated" at the office for coworkers to share would mysteriously disappear. A box of ice cream was a nice snack on a hot day, followed by diet coke. We know we are able to control our urges following Atkins, and are powerless without it to keep the weigh off.
