| I was 47 when I started and I'll be 51 next week and still going strong! 1,429 running miles completed this year alone! Now, if *I* can do it, YOU CAN DO IT TOO! Betty

| I was 49 when I started. I'm 51 now. I built up to 4 miles walking a day, weights, and exercise ball. I've had knee surgery this year and since then, I've been building back up my exercise routine. I am presently doing about 3 miles a week walking and weights about 4 nights a week. My goal is to get up to 2 miles a day walking over the next month and then build it up from there to get back where I was before my surgery.

| I was 51 when I started too. I didn't believe in the power of exercise... but I had to re-think. It really works! I walk my dogs for forty minutes a day (minimum, fast walk) and do 20 to 40 mins total body workout. TRY IT! You too will see the difference!

| I started cycling again aged 55 and regularly cycle 20 miles in hilly terrain. The bike is here: http://www.robinmathercycles.co.uk/b...argeaudax.html A hand made classical beauty. It was made in a small workshop about 5 miles from Rich's home.

| I wondered what your bike looked like, I remember when you were waiting for it. I'm walking a hilly 5 km circuit each day (see my web site) and this week for the first time I did it in under an hour! Not bad for an old lady of 53 who is still classed as obese and has had both Achilles tendons operated on.
