Re: Splenda - Effect On A Hypoglycaemic | | it has to do with the cephalic response. the body tasted sweet and reacted accordingly with a release of insulin to the antcipated sugar. when none arrived that insulin goes to work on the blood sugar already there and lowers the blood sugar level below normal and then the hypoglycemic reations occur.until digested foods rep;enish the levels in the body. you can't fix it fast with sugar cause even more insulin would be released making it happen all over again and worse. |
