I don't know how we can have a blood pressure challenge.
In 2004 I dropped 40# by eating low-carb and exercising extensively. I even got off all my blood pressure medication.
Then something happened in January; WHAT I don't know, but my blood pressure slowly started increasing. I have not gained an ounce, so the 40# are still gone. I'm still eating Low-Carb cause I have 20# more to lose according to my Dr. I'm still drinking water, still exercising 5 or 6 x weekly.....
So what happened to cause by BP to go from 110/70 to the high numbers of 155/105????
I went back on blood pressure medication on Wednesday and finally this morning we are seeing numbers back in the 110's / 80's range. Whew ----
but IMHO there's still so many 'things' that affect blood pressure that we just don't know what they are all yet. '

How I wish I knew that by doing X, Y, Z I could have control over my Blood Pressure numbers. I eat low-carb, I exercise, I drink water, I have never smoked or used drugs, I eat low-salt too --- and I presently am a size 10 and all the folks around me 'think' I don't have any weight to lose.
At least it isn't out-of-control and off the charts like it was 14 months ago.
